Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nanaimo & Transfer to Duncan
Your journey begins with transportation to Duncan via Nanaimo, where you'll meet your guide and fellow travelers. Once in Duncan, enjoy a relaxing evening and an introduction to the Cowichan Valley’s natural wonders.

Day 2: Trek to Lake Cowichan
Start your trek along the Cowichan Valley Trail, a scenic section of the Trans Canada Trail. Along the way, you'll immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes, including forests and breathtaking views of the valley. The day's hike leads you to Lake Cowichan, where you’ll enjoy two peaceful nights in this tranquil lakeside town. Here, you'll experience Shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, and have time to reflect by the water.

Day 3: Waterfalls & Wilderness Rituals
On your third day, you’ll visit the serene Skutz Falls and other nearby waterfalls, the perfect spots for reflection, meditation, and wilderness rituals. Spend the day immersed in the quiet beauty of nature, with mindful walks, meditation sessions, and time for solitude. This day is dedicated to helping you connect deeply with the environment and tap into a sense of inner peace and rejuvenation.

Day 4: Return Trek to Duncan
Your return trek takes you back towards Duncan, walking along the tranquil south side of the Cowichan River. Surrounded by lush landscapes and peaceful river views, you’ll reflect on your time spent in the wild. The day concludes with a relaxing evening in Duncan, where you can unwind and share stories with fellow participants.

 

Day 5: Return Home
After a restful night in Duncan, enjoy a final morning in the Cowichan Valley before being transported back to Nanaimo for your journey home.
